Default Adding options to the '07 Si

So I'm waiting for my 07 to come in, and still haven't decided on black or ASM for color (leaning toward ASM). I'm having a heck of a time trying to decide what to get on it from the dealer/factory:

Nav. Is this worth it? I figure most of the driving I'll be doing is going to be places I know, right? This seems more like an option you'd want on an EX, to be honest...

18" HFP wheels. Personally I think these are the best looking wheels I've seen on the Si. I haven't been able to figure out exactly how much they cost, installed, from the dealer, or how much the wheels/tires together are going to end up costing? I've heard anywhere between $1200 installed for everything to ~$2000. Do you get to keep your stock wheels/tires? Are there other considerations with this such as a different spare, outrageous cost of new tires, wear, etc?

17" HFP wheels. I haven't seen any of these (that I'm aware of). Do they look nearly as good as the 18s? Do they fit on the stock tires, thereby saving money?

Fog lights. Worth it?

Springs. I don't necessarily like the look of lowering 1.3ish". I like the look of the 18's alone. How about this? Worth it?

There's probably some other stuff I forgot to mention as well. I don't want to put more than say...2000 bucks extra into the price of the car as I buy it -- what options would you recommend? None? Thanks in advance for all constructive input you can give me!

hmmmm well every dealer i went to jacked the price on every Accessorie i mentioned such as the full hfp body kit, as well as fog's. They wanted $2,800 for the hfp kit installed and $995 for the fog's installed. I told them hell no that's too much so when the car comes in i will try to talk them down. The thing is you can get the kit and fogs for so much cheaper here http://www.hondapartsdeals.com...ic-si so you can buy it here then put it on yourself or pay a shop to do it. I dont think the rim's are worth it that's my opinion they add weight that we dont need you are better off getting a nice set of light weight rim's from a good company. If they try to charge you these insane prices just show them this website and maybe they will match the price or lower it GOOD LUCK.

Fogs are worth the money at some point. Which ever way is cheaper, after sale or with the car purchase. They add alot to the lighting of the side and close to the car.

the 17 and 18 HFP wheels are the same, and they look better in pictures than in person to me.

only option i wanted was good tires and fogs, and thats what i got. No markup either, I told them if they wanted to sell the car they would give me my tires for 200 and fogs for 500, and thats what they did.

^ What he said. Try to get the HFP wheels somewhere else and the 17" and 18" are the same except for .5" radius or 1" diameter. oh and some weight, and some more inertia, and finally more for the wheels and more for the tires when you need new ones.

Stay with the 17"'s even if you go HFP.

To convince yourself, go price tires in 18", them price the same tire with the same section width and same overall diameter in 18" wheel size.

yeah.... i wouldnt get any of that stuff from the dealer if i were u! i tried gettin the kit also first he said 2900 then he went down to 1800 but screw that u can get it online wayyy cheaper and then for the fogs it woulda end up costing me like 800.. those jerks charge 500 for the fogs itself PLUS 87 dollars an hour for labor x4! screw that!! so im goin to hondapartsdeals.com and ebay for my yellow fogs.. i think all together it will still be way less than the kit alone at the price of 1800.. only downfall is its not covered by them and u either gotta do it urself or have someone else do it

I remember when I was buying my car. I asked how much it would be for the fog lights installed. He said "$619". I said "I'll get them myself then".

So the 17" hfp fit on the stock tires? How much should I be looking to spend on them?

How much should I be looking to spend on the fogs, installed (I don't really want to install myself).

Something to consider here is that if I have the stuff done when I get the car I can finance the cost rather than have to come up with all the cash later. Also it gets added in with your warranty...

Thanks for the good info thus far...keep it coming if you got it!

For the fogs, I bought the OEM kit so I paid $200shipped. Since they were asking $620 installed I saved more than $400. It's well worth it.

Any other opinions? And DO the 17" HFP rims fit on the stock tires? No one has said for sure yet.

Thanks!

I was also wondering this, and what do they look like? Also, this is probably a stupid question, but installing...lets say tein s springs, it does void the warranty right?

OE Si tires will fit the HFP 17"s.

Modding the suspension voids the warranty for susp. related parts, powertrain and everything else would still be covered

the nav isn't worth it you pay about $2300.00 and it doesn't even play dvd's you can get an aftermarket for the same price or less that does more then the stock nav systems
