hey yall i bought a 88 honda accord for $300
in almost mint condition only problem is it wont rev past 2grand
any ideas>?
when you punch the gas it dies but if you tap it a couple times it will go up a little maybe 2,5k

 

Sounds like it has some carb problems. I hope you have some skills to call on or a lot more money to work it out

 

i wish we replaced the carb with a new one still giving me issue
new vac lines (all right) new fuel pump,filter,timings ok
