UPDATED:
i was driving one day with my music kinda high.next thing my speakers go crakc crack and makes engine noise. first thing i did was change decks to my very very old sony deck. still same problem
heres my old set up:
pioneer deh-3600
16gauge power&ground wire
200w phillips 4channel amp
400w pheonix gold amp.
2 12" wolvenhag german concept
i tok it to the shop and they told me it was this and that. so i bought a new amp and got a used amp for free and upgraded new wires. heres my new set up:
pioneer deh 3600
4awg power and ground
440w 4 channel TMA amp
1000w hifonics brutus amp
noise suppressor/ground loop isolator
new rca, remote and speaker wires
got the ground wire to as short as possible from the amps.
still engine noise. so i figured that id change the engine bay ground . i took out all of the old grounds in the engine bay and bought some new 8gauge power wires with gold plated rings. still nothing. do u think it might be the HU? seeing how i used my old one and it did the same thing i dont know.

cda-p3600 is not an Alpine model number that I have ever heard of, [it does not show up at Alpine support, are you sure it's the model number.

I assume you are talking about the DEH-P3600... http://www.pioneerelectronics....0.pdf correct?
Is the "crackling" sound coming from the 6.5" speakers or the subs or both?

yeh thanks for clearing that up. the crackling/engine noise is coming from the 6.5's i took the subs out two weeks ago. i just replaced all the wiring to brand new TMA (new JL audio) wires and it still makes the noise but not as loud.

You ran new speaker wiring directly to the speakers, pulled the speakers out and connected right to them?
Where is the amp mounted and how, where is it grounded and how?
How and where did you run the power lead, the RCAs, speaker and amp control leads?
If you have changed the wiring, [all of it] and done it properly, and you have tried other amps but you still have a problem, I would assume the problem was in the HU, [as it's the one thing you have not changed].

i have replaced the HU also and still the same.
im going to everything right on sunday. thats take out all the carpet and run the power on the driver side and rca on the passenger side and run the remote and speaker wires down the middle, and im planning on remounting my amp to a customized board, and drill a new hole for the ground
thanks FCM for responding.

How big is the amp, will it fit under the pass. seat?
Hint.. it is best to keep all leads/cables as short as possible, [that's why under the pass. seat works so well] however I would run the power cable down the batt. side of the car, [even if that's the pass. side] run the RCAs down the center of car, run the amp control lead with the power lead, speaker leads can be run with the RCAs.
The pass. seat can be raised a little by placing spacers under the rear seat mounts.

UPDATE: so i took all my carpet out and put in all new wiring. thats the power ground rca and speaker wires still nothing. it got even worse. but thing is, i hooked up one of the speaker to the radio harnees instead of the amp and it works perfectly. so now im going to see if the guys at the shop can plug in this one thing to stop the engine noise and if that doesnt work im not gonna be using an amp anymore.

I would try a new new four channel amp. That phillips amp is not close to any cream of the crop. I putting my money on the amp or the headunit. mostly on the amp. You need to fix the problem not mask it up. That nosie filter is nonething more of a band-aid. How old is that four channel.

ok so now i got a new ground at a new spot and i got a new amp (TMA) jl audio brand. and still nothing. do u guys possibly think that its the rca on the HU?
You say you tried another HU and it made no diff., however it's sounding more and more like a HU problem.
When you ran the speaker leads from the amp to the speakers, how and where are they run?
Have you checked to see if you have a short in one or more of your speakers or speaker leads?
Do you have or can you borrow a multimeter, so you can do some checking?

yeh im going to buy a new HU within a month or so. im thinking that its the rca on the HU but not quite sure. or even the harness (the one that plugs up to the speakers and my HU harness).
this is how i got it set up:
from the STOCK harness to the harness that is made for aftermarket stereos. to the amp (down the middle of the car along with the rca and remote wires) and the i have an infinity x over for the fronts.
im going to purchase a multimeter. but do i measure it in ohms or just volts?

You will check for "continuity" to ground, one probe of the meter goes to car chassis, [ground] the other go to the speaker leads, one at a time, [all 8, 4+ and 4-] speaker leads must be disconnected from amp, there should be NO continuity between speaker leads and ground.
You can also do an impedance check of each speaker, set meter to ohms, [first setting, [probably 200] and one probe goes to each speaker wire in the speaker lead, [+ and -] it should read around 4 ohms.

i wont be able to replace the ground wires til next week, damn it.
heres a little something that i discovered the other day.
i put my hi's half way and lows all the way down. and my input all the way to 0 becuz if i turn it 1/4 than the noise gets louder with every turn. so i just turned it down to 0. any thoughts of wat that means?

sounds to me like noise in amplified and is getting into amp through the RCAs, if you unplug the RCAs at the amp, [turn gain up again] do you still have noise?
If not, plug RCAs back into amp and unplug them at the HU and check for noise again.
