Ok im trying to buy the right size slicks the first time so i need a lil bit of help
BTW: I put my trans settings in there
I have a turbo sohc, i went to the track and had some axle and traction problems... my first run i went 13.0 at 116 with a 2.4 60', my next i didnt launch because i didnt have any more extra axles, but here is my slip info
60' - 2.76
1/8 - 9.3 @ 91.38
1/4 13.6@ 117.21
now i have a cable zc trans... and im thinkin about 24.5' slicks but then my gears might be too tall and the ways it looks ill be going through the traps middle of 4th... 22's look like they'd be ideal but would i get any traction...
my car weighs 2250 with me so im guessing i have between 300-350 hp
take a look at my gear chart and tell me what look like the best option...
TIA

Here is something i made on excel to help...

you CAN get good 60fts with smaller slicks. I've hit 1.7 on 20" MT slicks in the past.
I'd definitely scratch the 24.5's off of the list. HOWEVER, how well would they work with an ZC/Si tranny?

i have lsd in my trans so i should get pretty good 60's with some traction.... but the tires i had on the car when i got my times are 225/60/15s whichs ends up being about 24.5... so if i go lower wont my mph be lower?
anyone think illl have traction issue with 22s or 23s?
EDIT: 225/60/15s end up being 25.63"

You can get 22"'s to hook - plenty of people have gone low 1.7's high 1.6's on them. If those are what match up best with your gear ratios I would say go for em. 23's probably wouldn't be a bad move either. Best bet would be to try and borrow a set of either size and see how they work with your gearing best.
i'd go w/ the 23's as you can always up your revlimit 100rpms if you really need be. Your car has one of the worst traction problems possible, so i'd go with something tall.

i can up the rev limit if i had smalled tires then i can hold the shorter gear(smaller tire) longer, but with bigger tires it puts me lower in the gear.. i dunno the 23s are as bad as 24.5s... those monster street tires i had dont hook up for ****
I've said that plenty of times, granted, it helped you a little having 25.63 inch tall tires, but they were still a street compound/all season. I said you needed a set of radials, or slicks.
I still think you should just go with the 23's. If you still end up just barely topping over 4th, you could increase your limit 100-150rpm's giving you more rpm travel per gear resulting in less rpm each gear depending on the ratio. Tire PSI is also into factor with traction.

As stated from Garage808hatch, if they are too big, add more pressure.
I sent you a PM.
in class bump!

I'd get a 1.0333 zc 4th (I have one that I can sell you) and use it as your 4th gear. Or get a vx trans and use the 1.0666 3rd as your 4th.
or get a hf 3rd of 1.0333 and use as your 4th
If I were you I'd get a 1.0333 4th gear and run 24.5" slicks. Your 4th gear would end at 123mph @ 7400rpm

yea true.. then i gotta change the shaft too... but then i need a diff clutch disc because i got the weird *** spline count and had to run a 85(i think) prelude 2.0 clutch disc

nah, that's when you change the mainshaft aka input shaft.
the countershaft is like the "pinion" of RWD cars.
I would suggest getting a busted si trans and then doing an obx install with the 1.03333 4th and then rebuild it. the differentials in the cable trannys are very weak. and when that thing gives out, KABOOM
