suspension interchangability
I was curious on the interchangability of DC/EK struts. Primarily because I found a deal on EK struts and would like to know if they fit on my DC2. From what I've been reading I've seen posts where people are advertising applications that will fit both DC and EK. And other sources that I've read state that the EK struts will work in the front, but in the rear forks are narrower than the DC forks. I can see how the DC struts would work on an EK but not vise versa.
Anyways it would be nice for someone to post a chart, as I'm able to find bits and pieces in other topics but no one has clearly defined what suspension parts works inbetween EF/EG/EK/EM3/EP3/DA/DC/DC5.

Its pretty simple really, and no chart has been made because the topic has been covered so many times before and with such frequency that people may have felt that it is not necessary to sum it up.
The 92-95 Civic and the 94-01 Integra are essentially the same chassis, and all suspension components are interchangeable. Aftermarket suspension components that fit one will fit the other.
96-00 Civic chassis are different in that the rear lower control arm is longer than that of the 92-95 Civic/94-01 Integra. The shock bushing is also thinner on the 96-00 Civic's rear lower control arm, therefore the 96-00 Civic's rear shock lower mount fork is narrower. If you want to use 96-00 rear shocks on a 92-95 Civic/94-01 Integra's stock rear LCA's, you will need to grind the shock bushings down 5mm each side to accomodate the shock's narrower fork. EDIT: In the front, the 88-91 Civic/90-93 Integra has a smaller lower fork - the collar has a narrower diameter. If you use 92-00 Civic/94-01 Integra shocks you will need to use the same generation forks as well.
The 88-91 Civic/90-93 Integra's rear LCA's are the same overall length as the 92-95 Civic/94-01 Integra, but the shock bushing is positioned slightly further outboard, closer to the hub. The bushings are the same thickness. Stock shocks are interchangeable between the 92-95 Civic/94-01 Integra, but again if you want to use 96-00 shocks you will need to modify the bushing. There is a possibility that aftermarket coilovers designed for the 92-95 Civic/94-01 Integra and 96-00 Civic may have issues clearing the rear knuckle/hub if they use a thick diameter shock body.
01-05 Civics share the same suspension components as the DC5, although in 2005 the RSX received a revised front suspension but afaik mounting points weren't altered so parts are still interchangeable.
