since im lookin into buyin an sti when i get out of college (4yrs) haha but i know nothing about the opposed/flat 4 so im lookin to learn ....can anybody point me to a sti forum thats like honda-tech for sti's?

i dont wanna be pointed toward somethin like 7thgen.com
so could somebody point me toward a good sti forum?

for some reason, IMO nothing sounds better than WRX engines with a nice exhaust. They purr like a kitten.

Well, I'd have to say my favorite exhaust note is either the Dauer Bugatti EB110 (that driver is a complete putz), the Nissan Skyline R31 , or the Mazda 787B.

Well i like the thrum of the old school Impreza - or Classic as it's now known - the unequal length manifolds lend it a proper Spitfire type sound.

I also got blitzed by a 612 Scaglietti in the motorway a few weeks ago...i damn near wet myself.

Ferrari V12 &gt; Everything else.

It sounds cool, and is one of my favorite cars, but the exhaust note is a little to F1 for my taste.

After going through all the Video's my fav is still the Boxter style Sub engine. Although the 787B had a crazy idle.

i know the word ur lookin for ...its that really deep tone w/ the <U>gargle</U> everytime i hear an sti drive by ....that really deep gargle with a big ol PSHHH b/w shifts i wet my pants every time

i almost cryed today, i was walking back to the shuttle from the gym (im a freshman in college) and i saw a WRX all fucked up ...it looked like he rearended somebody, i got a pic on my razr but i dont know how to email it to myself or anything like that
