Default Alabaster Silver Metallic / Nighthawk black pearl

Hey all,

I've been reading these forums for a while now and figured it was time to get my trial period over I'm sure this has a topic that has come up a few times before, but, of course, we all have our unique circumstances that make our situation different, right?

I'm waiting on the new '07 si before I get mine. To be honest, the Civics don't come in the color I really want (similar to the dark mica color on the tC), so of course my closest option would be black. And it looks sick. My car will be in a garage most of the time, with the occasional stay at the transit station and/or airport. Keeping it clean is a concern of mine, but I'm not a person who is going to want to take hours every week or so to detail the outside of my car to keep it looking clean.

My question is this: is NBP a bad choice for me, then? The ASM would be my second choice, but it certainly does't have the sort of "elegance" that the black has... I also haven't seen too as many ASM pictures as NBP...

Do you think it's worth it? Thanks in advance!

dont go with the nhbp then. because i wash my car probly 2 times a week and detail it once a week like yesterday i spent 4 hours waxing it. it looks great when its clean but i dont even want to drive it right now because i will get it dirty after driving it and it wont look good again until i wax it again

try the white or fuji blue then if your concerned about cleanliness, i know it sounds funny but i swear i washed my car last friday and drove through a few rainstorms and its still clean save for a few bugs on the front bumper :D

yeah black looks good when its clean, but dirt, bugs, dust, and waterspots are inevitable on a daily drive

Gotta stick with the neutral colors (black, silver/gray, white) and I'm not into white cars. And I'm not into "tan" cars, so imo the GG is out, too =\

Wish there was a flint mica...

If it is a daily driver, go silver.

If it always has to look clean, the black will drive you nuts. Swirls and other scratches show better on the black too. Silver is still a very classy color, in my opinion.
