Considering the fact that a supercharger ain't made for it, yeah it is very difficult.

well the reason im asking this is, i drive a 96 accord and i have done everything possible to the body and interrior and i have minor upgrades to the engine (Soch Vtech),, but before i spend even more money on my engine, i was thinking about droppin a h22 in, but i have a automatic . The place that would do it for me has a h22 with the "sport shift" and they said that would be easy to install,,, and i have heard that doing a auto/manual conversion is the biggest bitch in the world... so im just really confused on what to do....should i get the h22 with the sport shift... or keep my engine that still has perfect compression through out and do a manual converison?.........

I have a 94 Accord with an auto H22 in it. It works just fine. However, I keep blowing up trannies with the nitrous. If you want info on it, email me @ jamesk@cavediver.net I will be gone for a week in about 5 minutes though.

1. Do not bother supercharging your auto f22
2. For christ's sake yes its VTEC!!
3. The Auto/Manual conversion isnt that much of a bitch
4. Please try using proper grammar on the board, you will much happier with how your posts are answered.

it can...if you get a torque converter, tranny cooler, and better fluid...there should not be too many problems with it either. Its just a matter of personal preference.

buuut...you're probably talking about putting the JRSC on your H22 that would be in a 5th gen accord...and there just isn't room for it right now. The 4th gen prelude supercharger might work if it is every released.

Yeah, sorry about the grammer, i was in a HUGE rush when i wrote that. Have any of you guys done a auto/manual conversion or have it done? Or should I just go with the h22 with the sport shift?

Manual is the only way to go. Unless you have some kind of physical handicap that does not allow you to use your left foot or right hand. An auto will always slow you down.

Its not that funny. There is at least one member who has a physical disablilty to use his left leg while driving.

Will he notice a difference if an F22A6 somehow winds up in his engine bay and his F20C is missing?

I dont know I am the only one to have taken the car above 6000rpms. But the engine in the s2000 rotates oposite of the older honda engines so I think he would notice when he put it in first gear and started going backwards.
