How much could i get for my Ride
Its time for me to sell my CRX...Although it kills me to say that.
I was just wondering if you guys could give me an idea of what its worth/what you would pay for it.
Its hard for me to find a price because although it does have a b16a and much more, it also has a lot of rust forming...Heres the details and a pic...
B16a crxs on autotrader are going for like 3,000-6,000 but with almost no rust
Car has like 180000 miles and engine should be around 50,000
89 hybrid CRX from a DX
B16a Vtec
OBX Cat back exhaust
short intake
Hasport AC mount
Dupont paint
1 standard ECU and 1 Mugen ECU

find a good price that you want for it (3500 for example) then try to sell it for say 5000, see if you can get the 5 out of it and if not drop down to 3500 and they will think you are being really generous

for one im in agreement with you rob. Those z3 fenders, rims and muffler kill it. I owuld say if some one offers you 2000 take it.

Not to be a rude but I agree with them what ever you can get for the drive train is what the car is worth. It is not very hard to find a much cleaner shell than what your working with.

yea the only thing i see wrong is the stickers on the side and the fenders, i bet you could still get 4000 for it, i mean clean paint job, fresh b16a and a pretty good exhaust
SiR hood with projectors, b16a WITH A/C let me add, my god you people are crazy you could easily get about 4000 for it,
lets say 2000+ it cost alone for the b16a swap
400 for SiR hood
150 for headlamps
im not sure on how much du pont runs but i would say 300-1000 for the paint
And thats a little rust
( you should of seen my car i had to sand through 1/2 inch of bondo to get to it)
let me add how clean the interior is
everyone else get over yourselfs cuz your rex's arent that clean

looks like its been sitting a while from the tires. do a KBB.com check and maybe add 10% for the motor. car+swap+labor does not get you a selling price. A fresh paint job wouldn't increase a cars value except to restore its baseline resale value.
find out what a good stock swap costs, and what a B16 swap goes for and maybe you can add the difference to the cars selling price.

I really cant put the stock fenders on(although i still have em). Passenger fender had a scratch down the side and started to rust away. Before I bought the car..it came from colorado= SNOW/salt.
exhaust really isnt that bad considering how good it sounds..Doesnt sound like one of those crappy fart machines half these idiots drive around in..just good clean sound. Pretty much put all money money into restore and engine, didnt have time to worry about tires and rims..But i admit(mine really do suck badddd)

u find the right buyer "if" big If maybe 5000 good body and swap. yes the fenders r gay. but someone might like them.
put it up for 3000 or more talk down from there start high see what happens u might get lucky. i had a piece of **** ford aspire i got i for 1400 and had it a year or more sold it for 1500 nothing change but the mileage. i got lucky.

Dude when it comes down to buying a car it's all about personal preference, Also Ive noticed the prices of efs vary MASSIVELY depending on location/deals people found. But in my area a crx looking that clean I personally would put it up for 4G and work from there because it's not that bad looking at all to a non ht-er who wouldn't go through it with a fine tooth comb and hate on it because of some of the little ricey **** because alot of people on here feel they need to hate on it/ not like it so they can swing from peoples nuts.
I agree with SomeDude, it all depends on where you are. I don't think it's bad looking at all. Don't care for the fenders, but I like things pretty much stock, so that's just me.
