i have problem and i hop u can help me
this is my story
im new in engine world but im still learning and searching...
so i have a honda del sol 1993 and i like engine tuning

so first i bought B16 engine and after searching i bought :
.valve set oversize 0.5 skunk2
.dual valve springs skunk2
.retainers skunk2
.guide KMS
.seals kms
.pro 2 camshafts skunk2

and now the problem is camshafts
i bought
pro 2 IN. 0.504,270; EX. 0.473,276 skunk2
and i have oversize valves
when i look at the information with my camshafts i see:
WARNING!!
DO NOT use oversize valves
oh my god.. what i must doing!!!!
can any body help me i cant change the camshafts cuz im from kuwait!!

 

Yeah i heard about this, that the valves will be slapping each other i think cause the cam profile is to aggressive for oversize valves..I think thats what it is...

Also whats the problem with you in Kuwait, send it back and return for normal size valves. Unless you ported the head for oversize valves. Besides that your in kuwait your good, when your in Iraq is where the mail system sucks i know 3 times fold..hahah

 

there will be valve to valve contact if you arent carefull w/any big na cam and over size valves.

for that setup oversize valves really wont do much for you, stick w/stock valves.
