Default taillights

hey look i did my taillights again, since the guy that did it last time fucked it up. (was fading, didnt match each other, missed spots n ect) now this time i did them n they came out perfect. and suprisingly the way i did them the light shines threw it like nothing, so you see the lights perfectly in daylight. i also did my friends em2, he wanted a dark red color instead of black since his car is in black n his lights came out amazing. well i will post more pics later, but heres 2...

back in da days lights...

pimpin new lights ^_^

tell me what you think....

I like. I want to do it to mine, but not sure how it would look in a red car.

i think it would look AMAZING on a red car expecially if your intake is that color n ect, but i would suggest putting on some tints and black rims beacuse if not it would seem out of place and look bad

what you talkin about? i got the best quality camera, i take these pics wit my less than 2.0 pixel slvr camera phone

well first you have to get some special "window tint spray" it could b found in a lot of hobbie shops, also while you there make sure you buy a clear coat to protect it 4rm fading from the sun n ect (a lot of people dont put it and tell you that its normal for it to fade and you might have to do it agian in like 7 months, i said f*ck that sh*t did my research on it n found out they aint use the clear coat). well take off your bumper and then your light, when you get your light off, now its time to spray it on top of the plastic, no taking apart in the oven n ect. make sure when you do it, you do VERY VERY lite coats every time, and let it dry to touch after ever coat. mine for example, i did like 6 very lite coats, so you can see the lights threw it no problem, but if i would have done like 2-3 heavy coats, i would of been ALOT faster, but you wouldnt b able to see the lights during daylight. thats another thing that the guy that did it b4 did. so w.e, when u get the coat you want just put one coat of clear coat n put it back on the car and BAM you got sexy smoked lights ^_^. ill make a DIY when i do it for someone else again. alot of poeple down here like it so i c myslef being VERY busy soon lol oh n another thing to know, if for what ever reason you need to take the tint off, all you have to do is get like for example a bathroom cleaner, spray it on the taillight, let it sit for a few min, wipe it off, do that again 2 times more, n the 2nd time it should come off no problem.

its not my cup of tea, but I do like the fact it is damn impossible to tell the lense from the paint.

I hate seeing people cheap out, and having the blackness of the lenses not match the black of the paint.

dope came out nice, you did it or someone else? was it done wit spray or tint film? n you cant see it good at daylight, because it was either done wit tint film, or heavy coats wit the spray, also cops havnt gave u a ticket 4 it yet since its new so they dunno techniqly WHAT to give u a ticket for since you can still kind of see it n there really aint no laws for it yet haha

yea i used VHT Nightshades spray, used 3 thick coats of it, then 3 thick coats of clearcoat. Im really happy with the results, it looks ****** badass, especially at night. sanding the light really helped the nightshades stick, i basically sanded the **** out of it with 1500grit sand paper. urs looks good too, i love tints with the silver. good work

You need to start using said Camera, and toss that 2megapixel idea out of the window.

I thought you had one? That's what you posted, anyways. I know my camera isn't the world's greatest, but for $100, it works quite nicely.
