Hey. I know i could probably find this information out if i just looked harder and read a lil bit, but i just figured it be easier if i just made a post and had someone who knows just tell me.

Im thinking about getting an exhaust now for my Si and was just curious if anyone knew the diameter of the stock piping??

OEM exhaust is 2.25" outer diameter in the straight portions with 2.0" outer diameter in the bends.

Not sure about the internal diameter of the muffler and resonator, but my guess is it's the same 2.25" as the rest.

That is measured myself when I swapped it out for the DC Sports cat-back.

It's a pretty good exhaust system right out of the box, honestly. The stock one, that is.

 

oh yeah, i know the stock exhaust is AWESOME. the only reason im wantin to know this is to make sure if i get an exhaust that the piping is bigger. The only reason i would get a new exhaust would be to allow more free flowing air and a nice *rumble*. Im in the market and looking around and just need to clear up a few things..but really just want to make sure i get one thats bigger than stock...if i do get one.
