I went to get brakes for my dx and they kept bringing me rotors that were abotu 1 inch bigger than the ones on my dx....my dx ones were the same size as ones on my crx....are 92+ brakes really bigger than 88-91's or did the parts store have the wrong parts?

 

It depends on the model 92-95 Civic you are talking about. The EX's have larger rotors, different caliper etc. There are differences with the ABS and non-abs cars as well. Sounds like your parts dept. doesnt know parts too well.
