Basically I need some feedback, on experiences with a few headlights. I've had a set of 1 piece headlights that I bought about 2 years ago and the two outer halos aren't working. I really like the TYCs, but since looking on eBay, I spotted another possibilities. I'm not really needing a personal opinion, but more like some facts about these headlights. Answer questions such as: How long do they last? Do they provide good visibility? Do the halos burn out after 6 months? Is it worth HID retrofitting them? Will they haze easily? I appreciate all honest and helpful responses.

All Rice Headlights. Id pick the first headlights i dont think they'd haze easily waste of money to hid retrofit but hey to each his own.

 

I say buy a set of authentic jdm eg6 headlights. Oh what do you kno I got a set for sell.

Yeah, but I'm sure the authentic JDM headlights are just as much as the TYCs, and they probably offer less visibility, and basically look like OEM with amber corner lamps.

 

Screw youself once , not your fault.
Screw yourself twice, your fault.
Stock headlights are the only ones that aren't complete garbage. Minus the really well done retro-fits.
JDM bullshit aside, stock are the way to go for quality.

But, see I was very specific. I don't need additional opinions. I should've posted this in the Civic forum, but then I'd get flames and be sent to A/C. Now I'm just gonna get flamed because its rice. I really don't care what it is. Fact of the matter is, the car they're going on is going to be running mid 11s soon, so I can paint pink bunnies and rainbows on the side if I wanted to, and I really wouldn't care. I just want to know, who has these exact headlights, and if they've had problems. I don't give a crap, if you think they're rice...I think you're rice!!!

Guaranteed half of you in here, would say, that looks clean, had you seen a Civic with the TYCs. But since today, is 'raise my post count day with useless posts', everybody just says rice and leaves it at that. I guess me getting Crower cams and Mahle pistons is rice too. Should've went Type S huh?

Seriously I could care less what they look like they are garbage quality.
I know poepl who have had both sytles of those headlights andthe quality is garbage. They llok lie crap after a while. Stick to stock or stock painted or some crazy JDM stock, but for the love of god, projectors are garbage.

 

I wouldn't see the advantage of having them, so I wouldn't buy any of them. I'm content with my stock lighting.

The TYC headlights look the best IMO. If you buy em post pics of them on your car
