Default d16y8 into eg si

i have a 93 eg si with a freshly blown motor and a friend with a d16y8. my question is will the y8 just drop into my hatch and what wiring needs to be done if any since my car is already wired for vtec.

u will have to convert to obd11 or the reverse i think

^Yes, the y8 is either OBD2a or OBD2b, so considering your car is OBD1 you would need to use a conversion harness. Not sure if you would need anything else, seeing how they are both d series I don't think there would be any major problems.
