Default Will a JR Supercharger fit in a H22 swapped CD5?

I heard from Booja that a the supercharger for the H22 won't fit? Oh and another thing, I didn't want to make another topic, but if that's true can anyone give me some good resources/sites on building a N/A motor? Thanks.

booja knows what hes talking about..the only way that i can think of that will make it fit is that you have to make your mounts sit more up front of the car and need to cut out some of the firewall...and for a n/a motor check prelude forum they maybe able to help

Yeah Booja said it wouldn't fit, but he wasn't sure. I won't boost, not for awhile, but I'm asking so I can plan to prep my engine if I were to put a SC on there. Thanks for the info.

Is it possible to simply get a hood that will fit the supercharger, or is it more complicated then that.

JRSC will not fit an h22 swapped 5th gen. Now unless you want to hack the hell out of the firewall and possibly even the hood, then thats a different story. H22's sit far back into the engine bay on 5th gens. I would imagine the same on a 4th gen but i'm not sure on that one.

keep in mind that the h22's sit further back then the f22's, making it more difficult to run aftermarket intake manifold, let alone a JRSC.

That should draw a good picture for reference. HTH

Well whatever...it was a win-win situation for me anyways. Now I have a reason to go N/A.

Almost a year and half and well...it can be done.

6th gen Type R Accord (done by a member of cb7tuner.com)

And it was done to a 4th gen Accord with an H23, also came across this video on cb7tuner.com.

So since the 4th and 5th gen engine bays are nearly identical to each other I would say there is a definitely possibility but you would have really know what your doing to be able to tackle a project like that.

The owner of the car isn't on the forum but I'm sure with some real searching you would probably be able to track him down.

That's a different style of supercharger than what's being asked, but yeah it's an option.

Looks like he had to hack up the front support a bit too.

haha that's like the stupidest video ever, unless you like watching a guy drive down the highway and fill up his gas tank. like everybody said, this job is not as simple as just an install and a tune. If the car is your daily driver, i would not suggest it because of the amount of downtime and potential risks that come with a project of that size.

But it gives you an idea that it CAN be done.

Oh definitely.

No one said it couldn't - I've been tossing around the modding of my firewall for it.....

But we'll see I know a guy with a supercharged H22 Prelude down here so I may take measurements/etc

Where the hell is his alternator? I looked in to this a couple years ago and its way more trouble than its worth. Why not just go turbo?
