I haven't been able to figure out what my car is doing. It has been doing this for awhile, but it has been getting worse.

Whenever I lock my car (from the inside, using the power locks), after it locks once, it'll wait about 10-20 seconds... then lock itself again. Sometimes faster, but for the biggest average it's between 10-20 seconds.

Usually though, it does that twice. I lock it....... locks again........... locks once more. I've had it lock itself up to 5 times afterwards before. Sometimes I'll get lock.... lock....... lock lock. It's insane.

Now, I have never had it UNLOCK it self, thankfully; but it's very strange and annoying.

Help anyone? I don't get it.

 

The only reason I have heard of an Accord doing that is because one of the locks did not go down properly. So it tries to do it again until it can get all the locks all teh way down. I would hit the lock button and see if any of the ***** are still sticking up a little. That one might be sticking and need some lithium grease.
