90 crx si for sale in SC CHEAP
This is a simplifying my life sale for my MBA.
I have a 90 crx si for sale. I bought this car with a smoking engine a little while ago. It is currently registerd and has a good title. Looks like rings. I bought a second D16a6 and transmission. I was going to swap the second running engine(it's an 1988) into the 91. I started to take the car apart, but never got around to it. So I'm trying to sell it. Right now it is on Jack stands with some peices including the Rad out. I have all peices needed to complete the car and could put it back to running shape if someone really needed it, but have little time to do so. The mastercylinder was leaking into the vac booster(now that I think of it, it could have been the source of some of the smoke), I was in the middle of replacing the master cylinder but realized it needed a vac booster. Will need the vac booster and the master cylinder plumbed in to get this puppy on the road.
High points
- Basically rust free. The pics I have show all the rust I can find on the car.
- Sunroof Works.
- Hvac control panel works, cracked but works.
- Everything is there and ALL STOCK, noone messed with anything Ever.
- New Dizzy
- New Master Cylinder, plug wires and plugs.
- Did I mention Southern car all its life.
- Comes with 88 D16a6, with intake and exhast manifolds, transmission, 1 long side cv shaft, and shift rod. (Needs a clutch and flywheel turned) It shows no sign of a head gasket leak, looks like a solid engine. I've never run it though.
- Also comes with a Socketed and Chipped P06 ECU with a 9K rpm rev limit chip. I've never used it so I don't know much about it.
- Really awesome Gwar sticker on the glove box
- Clutch is in great shape. Car was driveabe with no slippage before.
- All electrics work
- even the stock gas struts on the hatch work.
- No grinds in the Transmission.
Low Points
- Needs brake booster
- 155k mile old suspension, I mean this car is STOCK and untouched.
- Needs a ring job, and the oil pan cleaned out I did the ATF soak and it got massive ammounts of gunk into the Oil Pan. Clean out the Pan do the Rings and this car is SOLID.
- Seats are cut up, typical Crx Problem
- needs a good cleaning
- was spray bombed, needs color sanding and a little paint work.
- Needs motor mounts
I will include any documentation I have with the sale. I had a pile of recipts from the previous owner of the 88 engine to show it was in good shape, I'll see if I can find them.
I wanted to build this into an STS2 screamer but just don't have the time. I do have need for a daily driver with A/C. Would like to trade for an EG civic with manual transmission or the lilke. Show me what you have I'm game. I do not have time to work on a car though, so if it's not a good solid car I'm going to have to pass.
As for cash price. I've seen these cars go for sale, as gutted shells for anywhere between $600-$1000. With the new parts and extra engine, I won't part out, It's definetly worth in the upper end of that spectrum. I'll ask for $1000. We can start there. I'm reasonable. I think i've been fair with the description, let me know if you need more info or pictures or whatever..

UPDATE::::
this weekend got it back together, will have it running and braking by the end of the day tommorrow. I don't know if the vac booster is dead or not, at worst will have manual brakes.
