Megan Suspension
Okay i got a Coilover dampning system from megan racing for my car. Its works fine except i have one problem. On the drivers side front, the locking bolt keeps coming undone and i have a poping sound from the fron, Ill go in tighten it down and next thing i know its popping again. Any thoughts on this? Could it just be a bad coilover?
by locking bolt im meaning the one that is sperate from the springs and gets tight up against the bottome silver piece. Not a good picture but

Most will commonly refer to is as the collar, or lower mount collar.
You'll want to make sure it is snug at all times, because if it is loose then it will allow a bit of free play in the lower mount. Usually you can get it pretty snug with some elbow grease - make sure you've got a good grip on the collar with the spanner wrench, and go to town.
When you do tighten it, are you still getting the popping noises? Are you sure the noise is coming from that loosened collar?

Yeah it just keeps coming back.. like it wont stay tight, i think im going to try and get my spanner wrench and an extetion on this time and see what happens.
