Default brake booster problem?

so, i'm buttoning up my ls swap on a 90 civic, and go to bleed the brakes. and everytime my buddy is pushing down on the pedal, i hear air blowing from someplace. upon further inspection, the air is blowing out of the throttle body. any ideas?

i dont see how it could be the brake booster.. could there be a vaccume leak, or a gasket where the tbody connects to the intake mani?

are you talkin bout a motor swap or a rear disc brakes? if disc brakes get a bigger booster! should also check you have the right prop vavle and brake master...

i dont think he is talking about a rear swap. he swapped the engine, and has air leaking out of the throttlebody so he says.. i dont see where the booster would cause that. the booster is mentioned cause when he trys to bleed the brakes the air leaks from the throttle body.

size of booster and having the right prop valve/mc has nothing to do with air coming out of the tb.

is the check valve working properly? maybe installed backwards?

the check valve is correctly installed. it doesn't make a lick of sense why this is doing what it is doing.

figured it out. there was a bunch of air still in the lines. and when I did the swap I swapped out the stock brakes and spindles for ones off a 2000 civic. SOOOO the o.e. 1990 Master Cylinder doesn't have enough umph (bore) to adaquitly apply the brakes. at least thats what i think. i'll find out when i put a new one on.
