Default half shaft hassel help me pleezzz

i jus pick up a 91 crx hf wit an 93 LS it has a busted axel. i got it home around 4 today and started workin on it once it hit the ground i took the axel out the half from the hub to the female half shaft but the cup of the male side is still stuck in the female side. one of the homies said to hammer it till it come out....2 hr. laters it hasn't moved wtf should i do now i wanna drive her.

....so you can't get the driver's side axle out of the intermediate shaft....??

i'll go with the standard answer - pry bar

heat the female side to expand it and the male should come out ..... junk yard jobs under a car suck too.....

what I do in this occasion I just take out the half shaft out with the axle attached to it. When you have it out the car hammer the crap out the axle until it lets go.

THe easiest way IMO, is to have two people, one on the bottom of the car and one on the top by the alternator and pry both the top and bottom at the same time. It will pop right out if it has equal push from both sides, that little ring inside makes it a bitch with only one person.

i don't have anything to heat it up with unless i set it out on the sidewalk....and i've been hammering for hours....and i can't find my fork....but i did jus come back form the junkyard and found a 93 teggy with what i need so if all else fails thats what i'm doin
