Hey all. Well if I drive around in 1st gear at lets say 1/4 throttle the car ginda gerks a bit but id fine if you give it a little gas. I have not driven the car much cause i just got it and never had insurence on it. I'm still working on it before i insure it so i was wondering is this caused by:

a: car being to cold
b: valves need to be adjusted
c: i actually let off the gas in first and thought i had it on

It only does it in 1st when I quickly shift in to second it seems to be smooth. It only does it once in a while to.

Im thinking its cause my car isnt warmed up all the way when I take it for a test drive around the block.

Sounds like a fuel problem to me. Maybe the fuel filter, pump, or injectors. Valves that are out of adjustment make a clicking sound. You will know for sure when they need adjustment.

 

had the same problem, cleaned my K&N and replaced fuel filter and car runs perfect

Yeah it wasnt my car it was me hahaha I was at 5k rpm and let off the gas in 1st. I didnt even know i did it.
