I can't get my RC 310ccs to fit into my intake manifold...
I went to install my RC 310ccs yesterday and I couldn't get them to fit. Wondering if there's some dumb little thing I'm not aware of. I switched over that rubber grommet thingy that goes onto the injector that holds it against the manifold but it wouldn't go into my AEBS manifold.
So I compared them to each other and saw that the diameter on the RCs is slightly wider. The guy I bought them off said he used them on his b-series so I don't understand why its not working. I don't want to bore out the holes on my manifold. So should I just force them in? or is there a grommet that RC makes to work but I just didn't receive? Is it a bad idea to grind down or file down the injector a little?

maybe they're not for b-series and the dude lied just to get rid of them (just a possibility). but, i wouldn't grind them down, if anything i would bore out the manifold (but you said you didn't want to do that). try giving RC a call. i heard they have really good customer service.

anyways arent all honda injectors the same meaning they fit from platform to platform ( b series are same as d, ect ect) ?

I had that problem too when I finally swapped to an AEBs manifold. Apparently the stock injectors fit fine, but our RC's are too "fat", so what I did was use a 1/2" bit and just bored that sucka out! After drilling, everything fit fine. I'll see if i have some pictures. 8)

thats what I'm thinking since people use DSM/prelude injectors on B-series too and whatnot

Is it a bad idea to razor out the rubber piece to fit onto the injector?

I realized that RC injectors go in all the way. They only go with the tip in and then thats it. Weird design but hey as long as they dont leak thats all that matters. So as long as you have the O ring you should be good.
i had the same problem but i figured if i put them all they go and tight them down they wont leak and havent had a problem since..
i know how to solve ur problem... pm a kid named (Sleepemike) he has some experience with 310 injectors into a b series IM, i think he cut the o ring, made it thinnner so that the injectors would fit in the holes.

Did you buy the injectors NEW or used? New, they should come with a special set of O rings for the intake manifold.
I made mine fit the stock ones. Put some oil all over the stock O rings in the IM. Put the injectors in the fuel rail, and sit them in. Tighten down the fuel rail, and it will push the injectors into the O rings. Worked great on mine, except for one, which tore, but it still doesn't leak.
