Default i need to make a exhaust for my car.... should i go with "2.5 or "3 ?

hello everybody.

currantly i'm runing a turbo'd D14 with stock exhaust... and 2" downpipe.
i'll be swapping the engine in about a year to a B16 or a H22 (both turbo'd)

so here is the question.
i dont want to make a exhaust system twice.... so which size should i go for? 2.5 or 3?

thanks

Well.. why not keep the downpipe you have at the moment until you do the engine swap. Then go with a 3" downpipe+ exhaust.

definately.

i just made one for a friends car, full 3" exhaust with a straight through muffler and we took out his catalytic converter. also have a 3" dp on there. its a lil loud if you hammer it, but it made very nice power gains

I just fabbed up a 3 inch exhaust with just a dynomax bullet resonator under the tunnel, and its not all that loud......very aggressive tone
