I have a stock 1996 Honda Civic SI about a year ago i tried to slide the temp. guage to the hottest side but there was resistance and i couldnt get the heat to come on so i took it to the shop and they said that the slide had to be greased and it should be fine. Recently now the slide seems to have come disconnected (no resistance like its not trying to switch to heat) and all i get is outside temperature if its on the hottest or coldest could anyone please help by telling me how to reconnect the slide so i can have some heat back in the mornings.
