Default Stock upper shock mounts on lowered car?

Well back in Jan. I put Monroe senstrac shocks all the way around with the eibach pro-kit, and MOOG shock mounts. Well now the shock mounts are shot, and in the back I have a bad clunk and I know its because the shock is just moving around since the mount went out. I have a feeling since all 4 mounts went bad stock mounts are not good for lowered cars. Is this the case or could I have just gotten 4 bad mounts? The mounts have a lifetime warranty, so im going in tommorow to get new ones. I think the shocks are okay but wont know till I take one out. If the shocks are fine I am just replacing the mounts since they should be a free replacement. Just seeing if anyone else has ran into this problem. If it happens again I will do it right by either gettin aftermarket shocks and mounts or just going back to stock height. Thanks guys, let me know!

We have been running the ground control mounts on a customers car for a while with no issues, I have never seen the MOOG one's, link to a pic?

I know I should use aftermarket ones no doubt but I am so far behind in money its just not an option if I can get free ones right now. I am more looking to confirm if this is a problem using STOCK mounts with lowered springs and stock shocks.

almost every car with struts/springs, and not full coilovers will pillow-mounts, run stock ones. ive never had a problem, and my friends who run them have never had problems.

So it could be that I just got 4 shitty mounts and they all went south on me. Well I got 4 new mounts and will be installing them tommorow afternoon. At that time I will see if the shocks are bad, if so they are in warranty as well, so I will have to wait till I get more in stock. Then I will have to decide if I want to run stock springs again. Hmm thanks so far guys!

As long as you don't put the thing on the ground, it should be fine with stock mounts and struts.

if your shocks are rattling around then they are bad, not the mounts.
check and see if your rods are scratched....i'm sure they are if they're rattling around.

and also did you install your washers properly?
sounds to me like you may have installed them all wrong, more likely then them "going bad"

They are bad the installer did not tighten them enough so they moved around and destroyed themselves, all the rubber is gone
