i got a 95 civic dx with the stock D15 motor non vtec and my throttle position sensor went bad, my friend is giving me his extra throttle body from a D16y8 with all the sensors, will that throttle body match up with my intake manifold or will the car act wierd with it?? thanks in advanced

 

Pretty sure it'll match up, but you can just swap the TPSs if you want. You need to notch them little flat topped screws and unscrew them.

 

The whole throttle body will interchange if you want . The only difference is where the sensors are mounted on the throttle body.

ya order a gasket from honda (real chip like $5) everything lines right up perfect and DO NOT MESS WIT UR TPS IF U DONT KNOW WHAT UR DOIN- it shouldnt need to be adjusted anyway
i have a ls throttle body on my mini me and my friend has a z6 throttle body on his b7 no modes require just grabing the map wire off fire wall(if u drive eg or ef) an plugin it to the one on the top of the throttle body
very simple job

 

hows ur car running wit the ls throttle body???better?or same?
