Default MUGEN or SPOON Thermo Switch/Thermostat

i just bought the mugen fan switch and thermostat from password jdm and i was going to install them but then i had second thoughts.... so heres my questions

if i put these two things on my car, will my car's ecu be confused and never think the car is reaching full operating temperature?

are these things only recommended to be installed right before having you motor tuned?

ive made myself paranoid over a seemingly simple mod.... tell me are there any downsides to using these things...anyone have them? thanks...

those things really are a waste of money..you can go to autozone and get a low temp thermostat cheap..and i dont know if the spoon/mugen is fail safe,,but the cheap beck/arnley from autozone is fail safe so thats always a plus..

you would not have to retune for anything. All this should do is turn your fan on sooner.

i would assume that the mugen/spoon thermo would be 100008930x better than a schucks special.

fan switch doesn't even go to the ecu, the temp sensor is located on the side of the head...you just wasted some money on some stupid parts
