Question on D-series head swap
Hello
I searched this out but am not finding any info on this exact swap. A buddy and I are taking his EG civic SI and putting an EF si head on it. We are retarding the timing for nitrous, and v-tec was somthing we didnt want to deal with. We are using ARP head stud kit, and a tripple stacked steel head gasket. The question I have is can we run the car with the SI ECU, or do we need to go to a DX EG ECU? I have heard that B18A ecu's plug in, but make the car run rich. We are going to be upping the fuel anyway, so is that a viable option? Will the SI EG dizzy work?
Any other forseable problems we may encounter?
thanks for the help,
-Marc

http://pgmfi.org will have all the answers you need and then some.
There are a lot of guys there who do nothing but tune ecu's and hybrid setups.
