I remember when I asked about different front lips for the CRX and someone posted pics of a J's racing front lip. Does anyone know where to get one? Thanks..

Anyplace else...just 1 distributor?? I dont see it on their site either....mostly S2000 stuff. Any idea how much the CRX lip would be??

 

I second that, Yasu gave great customer service when I purchased some front supports. I think Racing Craft is the only US dist. You need to follow the links to the J's home page to see what they offer/price. Of course you'll need to translate and convert from yen. Or just email Yasu that's the easiest, he'll call them that evening and find out.

Yeah i emailed yasu, and he told me 285 plus international shipping for the ef9 civic, and its not even urethane so i think it's not worth it to me.

 

Hmmm, it is a big size box and add ocean freight ...so its going to be expensive regardless.

I seem to recall someone posting a pic long ago on the Hybrid site showing that the EG lips also fit EF/ED's. I never gotten around to trying this out myself, but I have counted the bolt holes in pics from Benen, etc. and there are 11 just like the EF/ED. If the sizing/spacing is correct then that opens up a lot of other lip possibilities (Benen, FiberImages, Spoon, Mugen, etc.). Maybe someone with access to an EG can try fitting their stock EF lip, or vice versa....

 

Yeah that would be me (luis on the hybrid board). The originator of the EG/EF lip mod. I did the eg mod to my Ef bumper. Here is a pic of it on my old Ef before her demise. And one on my new project CRX. It does fit but needs to be trimmed in a few areas to get it to curve as the Eg lip is a bit more curved, and longer. But all in all it beats paying and ungodly amount of loot. When all you need a little bit of time an d ingenuity to get it on. I got the Eg lip off a guy in 97 that was doing a full body kit and didn't need it, I gave him 20.00 and i've had it till this day. I've Gotten alot of looks on it asking what type it is, and where to get it. Trips people out when I tell them it's an Eg lip!!! S rry for the bad pic on the crx but it's the only one I have of it up close, you can get the basic idea off the pic of the civic though...hope that helps.
