Default need opinions on this buy

I'm thinking of buying this ITR. Problem is I'm cautious because of the high *** milage. Car appears to be stock so I just wanted fellow ITR owner's input, would this be a good buy or should I hold out and wait?

I would press the price to about low 14s if possible, and look into an engine rebuild.

Looks like there is at least an intake. Looks like it's lowered? Also, is the radio missing? Make sure it's not a theft recovery with a salvage title...

1) Clean, clear title is a must for any R around $14-15k.
2) Mileage isn't too bad, as long as it was maintained properly, ask for service paperwork.
3) Following thought #2, make sure the 90k mile service work has been completed (belts, water pump, plugs etc.)
4) If you truly serious and actually go there with cash in hand, you can take heR, with a salesman to a Acura/Honda dealership to give heR a 101 point inspection.

Have you talked to them yet? Any more info that wasn't in the ad? What is the badge number?

If she has been properly maintained, I think you could get to 140k miles easy without a rebuild. But at 102k, I'd offer 12,500 and see where it goes from there. I'd only pay higher if the paint, body, upholstery, and carpet are in great shape. There are enough Type Rs with 55-90k miles that are selling in the 13-16k range.

Good luck in your search!! Keep us updated!
