Who's going to be making it out to the event this Sunday at Napierville??

Montreal is 20mins away from the track according to the CSCS website. Montreal is always a fun party place

If Sunday gets rained out, it will get bumped to Monday so it says on the website. http://www.cscs.ca

Not going... Going to spend the weekend finishing of my car and starting it up with the new engine.

Hey.. You've seen the car John is going to be assisting me with my race car and putting my tranny together this weekend, nevermind his new baby girls x 2 which he needs to take care of.

Adam Drake went 146mph in his SS/PA car ( SFWD )... there might have been a mess in his pants???

Other then that dont know much more...

That is great MPH! I'm assuming he ran a low 10 on that pass?

 

I belive a 10.5... I didnt make it, just got the info on the phone last night. He finished runner-up.

j.p. ran 10.4 at 149mph but lost in the finals to a 13 second car because he was on the 2step too long. the other team had one guy with his foot on the bulb and jp didn't know if he was staged so he had to stay on the two step and be ready to launch. they tried to do the same with marco from magnus. thats what i herd, if anyone wants to correct me, go ahead

edit - now im not.

JP raced Adam Drake in the finals, and thats not a 13 second car Mr 13.5. He ran a new best of 10.5 @ 146 at that EVENT!

The rest of it I dont know.. wasnt there.

Im hearing that nobody was staging Adam, and it was a time issue, sounds to me like Adam burned him down on the tree... I wasnt there, but there is a video, so ill see if I can get it ... Videos tell the truth.

J.P. lost to Adam in the Semi's.

Nothing happened during staging with those two. J.P. & Adam are great competitors, with two of the baddest SS/PA car's in Canada. Congrats to both of them on their new personal bests.

J.P. is the dude with the Blue golf with those funky red wheels right? What does Adam Drake drive? Im sorry, I dont know these dudes by name.

Adam Drake - dark Blue civic hatchback ( EG )

Adams car is fairly new... I dont even know if he has ran it yet at CSCS.

 

so far alot of drama and cheating from that event , thats what i been hearing,

but i wasn't there

 

It went both ways.

For the all-motor final, I was there. One crew member of the SDP team picked a big rubber shred in front of the car. It tripped the staging lights for a couple seconds. That was obviously NOT on puspose!!!!

The Ontario team (Haltech or someting) lost the race on the tree. Then they went on complaining that it was unfair, that they would call NHRA to have the track license revoked, etc, etc... Quite the drama I tell ya!

So to buy peace, they (the Napierville officials) DQ the Quebec team to give them the win.

Who was right, who was wrong? Hard to say.

I would have taken my loss with grace, but then, I'm not in their shoes.

As for Marco against Jason and his buddy, I really don't understand what happened. Marco has all the rights to be angry. He waited like 20 seconds on the 2 steps while the other racer teamate was arguing about I don't know what. They too were DQ but Marco broke something in his trans, so that sucked!

The winner in SS/PA was from Quebec BTW.

The SS/AM was also from Quebec.

The Pro/AM car from Quebec was running consistent high 10's.

P.S. BTW, we went 9.01@162MPH during some test and tune on saturday but we damaged something. So we were not able to make the race on monday.

P.S. 2 I've also seen S. Lisboa trap 170MPH getting on it in 3rd and 4th only!! Don't know if it was a fluke, but the car sounded really high in revs in 4th gear.
