i have an 88 crx and my hood latch cable broke, what is the easiest way to get the hood open?

 

reach in through the front of the car and pull the cable that is still attached (if it is) to the front clip

 

it kinda depends where it broke

I had the same problem with my car and I had to bend it open enough to get to the bolts that are holding the hood down in the front...released those and then picked up the hood along with the hole that the striker pin locks into. That's only cause I didn't care about my hood since I had just hit a deer and was going to buy a carbon fiber hood anyway. Good luck with yours man. Peace

 

yea i wrecked my hood once, i through a jack under there and jacked it open lol
