Prelude Final Gear Interchangability?

Prelude Final Gear Interchangability?
Wondering if anyone knows if this is possible? More specifically; Swapping the 4.062 final gear out of a '95 F22B transmission, into a '94 M2F4 transmission, replacing the 4.266 final. It's an idea i've had after I go turbo.

Sorry to be a newb about the fianl gear but when you mention the numbers b/t the H23 and H22 is the larger # mean a longer gear or opposite. thanks.
