Default b16 swap leaning out!!! what can i do!

ok i did my b16a (90 crx si) swap 3months ago and everythings great, but it leans out bad! its not spark! i have new wires, plugs and rotor and cap. i just pulled the plugs and change them a few weeks ago and they were all white.meaning it s running hot. i have put a new fuel filter, and injector cleaner in it, it helped but still bad. i'm getting a 2000 si fuel pump hoping that will fix it. i think the stock pump isn't strong enough to power the b16. its fine when i get on it but just driving a normal speed say 35 to 40 it just misses. just spudders push on the gas abite and its fine. mainly when i'm in the range of 25-50% throttle. i put a new tps on it cause the one was broken, maybe i did set it right.

please help!!!

other mods are Cold air, flywheel and clutch. i have never touched the timing and there are no codes besides the knock senor but vtec works and it doesn't spudder in vtec.

any help would be great.

thanks

If its a first gen b16a running off obd0 you need two 02 sensors and most people dont wire them both. That can cause the problem you are describeing, each 02 sensor controls two cylinders. I have a b16a in a crx dx with stock pump and have no problems.

Get the knock sensor code fixed first. With that code, the ecu will severly retard timing. Which can cause bad partial throttle response.

throttle response is fine tho. the knock senor code is werid i have a knock senor and everythings hooked up but it still puts out the code and vtec work perfect too.
it acts like its not getting fuel.

the only reason i would think its the tps is if it does spudder and i push on the gas slowly it will spudder all the way to the floor, but would that cause it to run lean?

I am having the same problem, I have a b16a obd0 in a hatch dx and I have a air fuel gauge hooked up and when I start my car its lean and then It warms up and goes to rich, but then when I start driving it bogs when I hit the gas, also if I am going down the street and floor it, it will do the same....it goes to lean on the gauge and then disappears...

I was going to change my fuel pump, but everyone says it should be fine.

I am also throwing code 23 knock !!!!

I was going to get a fuel psi regulator...and adjust it. I cleaned the injectors and checked everything and cannot figure this out... if you figure it out let me know

you loses the screws and measure the voltage off the two outer wires i believe. At closes its supose to be .5 and wot 4.5. Make sure to go through all the rages to make sure there isnt a "Dead spot"

easy fix ROOKIES if it drives fine when you mash the pedal your primary and secondary O2 sensors are backwards *****HINT**** primary meaning it goes infront of secondary meaning that on the exhaust manifold the primiry has to be on cylinder #3 on the header and the secondary on cylinder #4 on the header runners (bung holes).

its not the wiring, every thing works great, vtec works, just boggs like its lean. but yestarday i was airing up my tire and i could sell fuel. real strong but i started driving and it bogged anyways.

anyways i'll try to adjust my tps today, and if that doesn't help ill move on to o2 senors. but everything is pinned in the right spot checked it 3 times befor i started it.

thanks guys
