boost

and 50hp is definately not worth $3,000

take it from someone who had a shitty turboed car...too much time, money, and work to get it right

I agree with some of the others with waiting for more kits. It seems the first is not the best in most cases.

It all depends on how much boost your running greddy makes some of the best turbo kits in the business i would personal wait for a cheaper 1 then find a good tuning shop.

No offense spoon but it always seems like damned if you do, and damned if you dont, i am serious- why would you wait for a diff. turbo kit, is it a lack of trust in the product produced by greddy, because i have heard good reviews about this turbo kit, i am just curious and not trying to be a ***** bag wise ***, it just always seems no matter what item that comes out, someone always has a complaint about it, or likes it. I know our cars are still new and are underdevelopment so in the case of experience that you have had, what company would you recomend to produce a good turbo kit in the future other than greddy. thanks - Keith

no I trust their products as I have the exhaust for good sakes. I am waiting to see how turbonetics kit look. Since I am not a fan of emanage and would rather use unichip. I wouldn't mind see a full race kit or even a rev hard kit. I know cybernation is producing a kit. You see where I am coming from just want to see what is coming out rather than jump on the first one. Plus I want to see if any of the kits work with the Hondata reflash or if hondata produces a reflash for the kits

The Hondata/K-Pro would have to reconfigure the ECU maps for positive manifold pressure.

And remember Guys, the car already had an 11:1 compression ratio so there's not much boost that can really be run on a stock motor w/o doing at least a headgasket swap.

Yeah thats true, Hey im still learning as I go about this whole Scene. I was just talking about people who dont like a certain product and they swear by a different one, and vice versa- i guess it could be a personal preference for some people due to there history of the product that they talk about. Im sure by the time i go turbo, there would be alot more development. Thank you for the insight

uh. theres more to tuning a turbo, 50hp might be a little compared to what other cars are seeing but don't forget about how much TORQUE increases hes gonna see.

50hp = $3000.....hmmm not really worth it. I was looking at the APJ kit, and it seems pretty sweet for a little and better preformance.
