As a general rule:
- Black smoke = fuel (too rich etc)
- Blue smoke = oil (leaking rings, valve stem seals etc)
- White smoke = coolant (head gasket... also some times it smells "sweet")
Are you getting any CELs?

is the temp senor hooked up by chance? i'm not saying ur stupid just some thing u might have over looked. but pull the spark plugs.and pull off the exhaust manifold stick ur finger in the ports is there oil or just carbon in them.

cel for coolant temp sensor would cause u to run rich, if its not working right, when your engine warms up its going to continuously spray extra fuel to compensate for what it "thinks" is still cold air going in to the engine...
