if you drive an ep3(02-05 si) & have done hpde's i'd like to get personal pointers from you
any help is appreciated.
what tires are you running?
what suspension set-up? (specs pls.)
what alignment are you set at?
have you had custom services done? (ie. coner balancing, full rollcage)
this ep is driven 4 times a week at the most. i am planning to take it to the november event in norcal @ thunderhill.
TIA

Yes, but he didn't change anything to do with alignment. I think he might have had the Type R suspension and Brembo when he went out with it. Not sure.

I've got an EM2 that has seen alot of track work. It's the same suspension as the EP3 and RSX, just a little longer wheelbase.
Piece of advice, keep an eye on the OE front LCA bushing. As it wears it causes all sorts of fun toe changes and wheel hop off the corners.
I've got Progress coilovers, with 500F/650R springs, tho I've had the rear springs as high as 800. Progress sway bars, mugen aluminum front LCAs. Neuspeed solid tower brace.
Inside it's got a custom removable roll hoop and harness bar, Cobra Suzuka seat(almost sitting on the floor), Schroth 5pt harness.
Alignment is: -2* front, -.5* rear camber, 0 toe front, 1/16" (a smidge) toe out rear.
Tires are 215/40R17 Kuhmo MX's
Brakes are off the JDM integra R
It's good fun on the track, the rear should be set up basically as solid as you can stomach, the front needs to carry alot of static camber because the strut suspension doesn't gain camber well. Mine happens to respond very well to trail braking. The only downside is that even with an LSD the K20 has traction issues due to the camber and having to run a good sized front swaybar.

thank you very much guys. i thought b18 drove an ep? didn't you have a P1 project ep? wow, it's good to be back on h-t, george you've always been the go to guy. thank you as well sdcivic & b18cxr.
with the LCA bushing problem will a roll center adjuster do well with better bushings from say, ES?
yeah, i have seen & read about the GRM ep3, although i haven't seen it's current state after i saw pics of the build-up.

i was also thinking of switching to BC N+ or the GC/ koni conversion.
at this time my set-up is:
-DC5 tein type flex w/ camber plates and bolts
-SS brake lines w/ hawk HPS
- (will be getting) 205 or 215/ 55/ 15's on stockies
-progress rear sway bar & pillar bar / sticking to stock front sway bar
- (may be getting) mugen center bar & side intrusion
- (may be getting) better seats
