Accutally it threaded screws with flat heads, just use a dremel to make a line for a flat head screw driver and the come right out...sometimes you have to drill the heads off and the thread them out with a vice grip and just replace with some screw/bolts with a nice head for the next time
Hmm...I don't really know if you can get "NEW" ones othere than from Honda which as you know means a new TB too
just grab one at the J-yard or off ebay

There is really no place to buy just the TPS. I have them!!!!
Its a pain in the a$# to change. I would rather change the whole throttle b.
Most people dont even know how to calibrate them.
BY THE WAY WHATS WRONG W/ JUNK YARDS????????????

nothing's wrong with junkyards. i spent much of my teenage years in junkyards. but that was when i owned a 15-year-old car whose manufacturer had been in retreat from the US market for years (and left entirely the year after i got the car).
though my Civic is 16 years old (well, 17 by production rather than model year), Honda is alive and well in the US market. in addition, the TPS is both fragile and a part with huge model coverage - how many million Civics and Integras have been built with MPFI/PGM-FI that use the same TPS? it just seems that the part should be available in the aftermarket - particularly as replacements from the vendors selling aftermarket throttle bodies.
meh. it doesn't really matter, i guess. it's just i'd like to be able to go down to the parts store and pick one up.
