f22b1 in a 97 civic lx

Default f22b1 in a 97 civic lx

ok so here it is. I have a 97 civic lx with and auto tranny. im and lookin into swapping a f22b1 into it then going turbo in the future. im curious to know if anyone has done this before. do you think it will be worth it if i can get the motor and auto trans for $1000 with ecu and wiring harness. please lemme know what you think and let me know any information you might have that could help me.

$1000 is way too much man. i picked up an f22a1/tranny/distrib for $450. hell, f23's go for $200 and under. try car-part.com.

You can get a F23 for $200 or cheaper? SHow and tell me where? I would pay the 150-250 for shiping.

so ur saying that a f22b jdm motor and auto trans with ecu and harness is to much.

http://www.car-part.com does local junkyard searches. i found four f23's w/under 80k for $150 a piece, and the manual transmissions are $75. that's the cheapest i've found them tho.

i'm not sure about a jdm f22b. i knwo there are jdm f20b's. but as far as i know a f22b1 is from a 94-97 accord. they're all over junkyars for cheap.
