Buying a leakdown tester, plz recommend!
Hi, i'm looking into getting a cylinder leakdown tester.
here's a couple i'm looking at
@ harborfreight http://www.harborfreight.com/c...94190
@summitracing
http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku
if someone can recommend any other brands or places that carry them i'd much appreciate it.
OR even better, if you know a parts store that carries them that'd be real handy(wouldn't have to wait for shipping).
thanks!

I bought this Summit Racing one: http://store.summitracing.com/...w=sku. The hose on it leaked, but the hose from my old compression tester fit on it so I use it with that hose.

the % # mostly,
basically my compression results are even across all four,
but they're alot lower than they used to be..
still well within specs, but I still want to know before I do anything with the motor.

Yeah they are. It's just some of them are more accurate and durable. The way I see it is the better the brand the more it cost.
