ok i have a 92 civic hatch cx. as everyone know power nothing. well i lost my keys and i have no spare. i was wondering what to do. how much are new locks/ignition? can they just get the pattern and make a new key? any help apreciated if some one has been in the same situation

this has been covered numerous times, take some ID.. and your regestration and any proof of ownership of the car to a Honda Dealer.. and get a key made

what don't you understand.. your VIN has all your car Info on it don't worry

 

how much is it? and my car has been stolen before and the door lock is different then the ignition.

I'm not sure on price, call honda and ask them..

 

the crew at h-t have been nice enough to put on a fancy search feature for the web site i suggest you use it. the was covered less than 2 days ago

The dealer will only make a key for any locks that used the original key. If your ignition uses a different key then unless they dealer did the work and wrote the new key code on the work order, your out of luck.
