so after vacuuming my 4th gen prelude i look under the drivers side seat and notice a box. I pull it out and it says honda security system on it after looking under the seat some more i find 4 wires that i can plug into this box, one which just appears to be an antenna. So i keep looking around and find toggle switches under the dash on the drivers side, one that says valet on/off and the other that says beep on/off. Now i have no idea how to arm this thing or if it still works all i know is if i hold the valet toggle switch the light on top of the steering wheel will blink a couple times. Any tips on how to get this thing to wrok would be great.

 

i would be carefull with any of the honda security systems or anything that runs through the imobilizer........ unless you have one of those magic red honda keys, you can be without your car for some time if you are not carefull

4th gens don't have an immobilizer. Honda had a dealer installed security system for the 4th gen. I have one on my 93 Si VTEC
