Well it starts and runs fine w/ my P28 in there. No brake feel now (and no brakes) so we think the calipers are bad. Trade them in for new ones tomorrow morning, pick up some camber kits and head up for an alignment and some tuning tomorrow
Not the best pic - its late.
everything went well, usual hic-ups.
DC OBD2 engine harness with EG OBD1 chassis harness:
2 of 3 drivers side plugs right in - note one coming off the engine is plugged and not used
3 of 4 passenger side plugs right in - the 4th is a 3 pin coming from the eigine and a 6 pin on the chassis
Car started up, smoked for 10 minutes, would not idle on a stock P28
Swapped in a shipped P28, can runs fine, no CEL so far.
I figure I need to sort out the brakes, get an alignment and 15 or so dyno pulls and I should be good to go.
Car is retarded loud. I love it.

It was good times today.
Last week, I pulled both harnesses off both engines.
I started to wire up the VX harness to the engine and things werent lining up, so I put the one that came with the engine back on and swapped everything in.
Zach rolls up today - "everyone uses the VX harness. lets get started"
I say - "man, I dunno, the injector wires dont plug in."
Phone call #1 "swap the injectors, they're both 240's"
We get started - OBD2 harness off, OBD1 harness in - having problems.
I say - "man, I dunno, the alternator wires dont plug in."
Phone call #2 "swap the plugs"
We keep going, start pluggin things in -
I say, "man, I dunno, distributor doesnt plug in."
Phone call #3 "wtf, there are TWO 8 pin plugs? lemmie call you back"
...
staring at the car
...
Phone call #4 "put the OBD2 harness back on the engine, start it up and start checking CEL's"
Its a good story - the car runs
Oh, and I took off the intake manifold stand, bonus.

We would have to cut and splice and he didn't want to cut up a good harness.

Exactly
It gave you a reason to pull that gay *** intake manifold brace anyways
extra wait.
