1985 Nighthawk 650 - Clutch slipping @ high RPMs?
So I've been riding my bike for a few months now. I've been getting a little more confident the more time I get on my bike. I've been taking it up in the RPMs, but I notice around 6k it seems to run out of power but rev quicker than before. I'm assuming the clutch is slipping while in gear, but I'm not sure. It engages fine from a start, shifts firm, but once I'm up in the powerband it seems to just slip in-gear.
Anyone have an idea? Also, if it is my clutch, how difficult are they to replace?

Any special tools needed? Torque wrench, I'm assuming. I have a service manual at home so I shouldn't have too much trouble. What's the time-frame on a clutch install?
Edit: I was just looking at a parts catalog online, and found this..

I'm I going to need all of that?

yea dude this is real easy. just take it apart and set the pieces out the same way you took them off. then just replace the worn disks and springs. no big deal. then put it back together the way you took it apart.

I've never worked on bikes before, its a little confusing to me. So I need parts 4,5, 6, and 8? Not sure what "basket" means.

So do I need to wait to disassemble it so I know which parts I need?

well i would take it apart to see the wear on the items first. if you arent that experience then i would have someone with you to kinda oversee the operation. if you havent done this type of work before it might be advantageous to have the manual and a torque wrench so you can torque everything to spec.
the main parts i see you will need are, 4 5 14 8 16 and i think 13. those are pretty common wear items and it is an older bike i would replace the bearings. and i dont know if you can just get the springs for item 1. schu will know about this subject than i but those would be the parts i would start with and replace anything that looks worn after that.
