Default I'm Going to burn this thing

So its been months since my last post on here and i'm more pissed with this car than ever.
Update: 00 accord f23a4, crower rods, cp pistons, golden eagle sleeves, turbo, AFC, blah blah.

I am still having the same problem I have had since the new engine was thrown in. The damn car stutters at exactly 3000 rpm not all the time but half half the time. Throws code "ignition system of misfire" feels like a rev limiter. Changed out dist. helped for about a month, no misfire. Changed out o2 sensor, nothing. The only thing that remained from the old distrubuter was the coil. Could the coil be f'ed? i have had everyone look at this thing and i've heart that its everything from crank sensors to fuel filters, injectors, etc...
new plugs, correct gaps, wires, distributor (old coil)

want to put in AEM EMS that has been sitting in my closet but cant because this POS wont run right....

thank you guys....

Just put the aem on there and then you will be able to get it to run right. It almost sounds like it is doing it during an open/closed loop switch.

The thing is, with the same setup (stock engine) this thing ran great until I intentionally blew the old engine....

i know you changed out you distributor and all but my car did something simliar and i don't have you set up. my car would stutter and choke at 5500rmps right after vtec. it would then start at 4k rmps. it was getting worse and i could go past 4k when i drove it. i saw a post on here that actually worked. i had my distributor rebuilt and i think the connections were all screw. so i took off my cap and disconnected the spade connectors (4)one by one, crimped the connecters slightly, put di-electric grease on them and reattached them. Every since I did that. I haven't had one problem with my tach that sporaticaly jumped or not being about to go past 4k rmps without problems.

hmmm that is wierd... mine will do it even when the vtec is not engaged. Also as soon as i erase the code i am good again for a while.... i put the distributor from my old engine on the new car but kept the same coil in it (dont ask). It ran great for about a month then started again... Same experience with new spark plugs too only it ran great for about a week. This is driving me absolutely crazy.... should i pull and clean the distributor? i am willing to try anything, i just hate the fact that whenever I do, the damn thing runs well, i get my hopes up and it starts doing it again... the only thing that is consistent is the fact that it keeps doing it, and its ALWAYS right at 3000rpm. It will do it in nuetral too.... sounds like a launch controller.

have you taken your car anywhere to have it looked at. most places like garages or shops that work on multiple makes of cars seems like they deal with OEM basic problems. i only go to mod shops or honda specific shops to get all my work done. most things i learn are all from being on here. so i don't know awhole lot about cars. you may want to check the threads for similar related problems, and private message one of the guys who have thousands of posts. if they can't help you, they may be able to get you someone that can.
