Turn Signal Question....need help fast please!!!!
So a while ago, i broke my headlight selector switch. So I went to the junkyard to get a new one, didnt get one from an EF but from an EG, they are exactly the same. So I installed it and blew my main light fusible link, iguess from different resistors in the switch, so i took the two (bad one and EG one) apart and installed the stalk part of it in my switch. Get it all back together and now my damn right flasher stays on when i turn the car on, It wont click up on the stalk, so do u think it could be jammed in there or something, causing it to read that the signal is engaged?....please help...
are you SURE the eg one is exactly the same? it doesn't sound like it is....
i've swapped the stalks from 88-89's to 90-91's, and among crx's and ef civics.....i know those will work

I thought it was from an EG, but it turns out it was from a 91 sedan....but now i have a new problem....After i installed the new stalk in my switch.....and blew the main light fuse, now my gauge cluster doesnt work. The lights work in it, but the fuel gauge, temp gauge, and even the tach dont work now. Checked all the fuses and everything is good, what the expletive is going on?....Someone please help. I dont se how it would have fucked up the gauge panel
