My honda is making a weird clacking noise around the front two tires, I checked the axles and their fine, I also changed the most of the boll joints....I'm thinking maybe its the barrings but i am not for sure, i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or if someone can help me out...

 

mine just started doing that too and its also a '91 but i dont have any idea what it is, i'd like to know as well

 

When does it make this "clacking" noise?

 

It started when i would make a left turn....but now it does it when i turn either way and when i'm in the Freeway..

 

might sound dumb, but are all your lugnuts tight on the wheels? happened to my friends Avalon

CV joints

 

Maybe wheel bearing or your CV joint may not be mated in right on the axle. I had that on my 95 and replaced the wheel bearing to find out that my driver side axle was not sitting right because the CV joint was bearly sitting in the cup and extended almost all the way out of the joint (must've happend when I replaced the clutch).

 

Is it worse when you go over bumps? Check your stabilizer link pins

 

i notice mine the most when i got over bumps, buts it worse when the bump goes down than it is when the bump goes up

 

you mean its worse on potholes than speedbumps?
