I heard one time that the upside down A is supposed to be like an "extreme H" or something stupid like that.
I just pulled mine off and put on real H emblems.

actually some people flip their acura A upside down to a V because V is the first letter of Vietnamese... i know that because some of my cousins do it... either than that i dunno why else... i prefer no emblems at all... looks more clean....
Its does the job of a front spoiler. The wind hits the V and pushes your car down and blows the wind to the side... More down force and less wind resistance!
All I know is its dumb...

I thought people did it because it kinda looks like a fox head or something like that(at least to me it does). I guess just to look "cool"
alright alright alright... there's many reasons for this.
First, yes, Vietnamese do this becuase it looks like a V.
Other better reason (not that I justify it or anything): The A badge was originally created to have a "H" looking element to it, becuase of it's Honda association. Ever notice how the top half of the Honda H is larger than the bottom (
) ? Well, in Japan this has become a fad-- to turn the
upsidedown to make it look more similar to a Honda emblem. We have JDM style, and they like their USDM style. I wouldn't be suprised to see people doing the USDM front end conversion out there, or trying to find a '94 JDM integra w/ the 4 rounds, badging it as an Acura. Odd.
Personally, to me, it looks like some butt head was just hella stupid and put that sucker on upsidedown. But to people in Japan, and other riceboys around here, they like to continue the Honda tradition and make their

hey if i was in japan and had a integra, i would want he usdm front end, because dual rounds are tight. but not over here in usa, the straight lights on the jspec are tight. go figure, fads and the few.

Whether anyone knows this or not, the Acura emblem doubles as two things:
1) 'A' For Acura. Obvious
2) The 'A' actually a drawing compass
