Default Mugen Front Bumper

http://www.wheelsjamaica.com/w...r.jpg

ive been looking into the s2000 and rsx mugen bumpers with the signature smiley faces. for some, they hate it but for others, they love it. i personally hate it on the RSX but LOVE it on the s2000. i think what ruins it for the rsx is because it has a pointed frontside while the s2000 on the otherhand has a smoother front-end. with that being said, i was wondering if anyone had any thoughts or experience of molding a mugen front end from a rsx to fit a EMII. Thanks in advance.

doesn't look too bad, it'd take a lot of work to get them to work on the em2

yea but since the EMII and the RSX have basically the same chassis, wouldnt the outer moldings be the same? i mean, lets just say i buy a Mugen RSX front bumper, do you think it will take MAJOR fabrication to get it to fit? ive been looking all over this and 7thgencivic and havent found anyone that has tried this yet.

not much, there's a guy on 7thgen that did this, but on a different bumper... this was back in the old days, probably 2004 if i can remember correctly.

You're forgetting that the body panels are different on the RSX and EM2. The bumper might fit on the stock mounts underneath the bumper core support, but I doubt you're going to have such ease on the top mounts. You could do some measuring on your stock bumper to see how much you'd have to fill in/take off around the light fixtures, as well as, maybe check the mounting points spacing for the topside, then compare it to the Mugen's specs to see if they're a close match. If you like the front kit so much, why not just get some RSX fenders, lights and a hood to match it correctly?

Whatever floats your boat, bud. That's why I'm going with the EL front clip.
